System resistance curves can be plotted on the centrifugal pump graph. The system resistance curve will be displayed incorrectly if the current units for flow rate and elevation are set to anything other than gpm and ft. This is because the values being used for the system resistance curve are always in terms of gpm and ft.

A system resistance curve is created and the document units for flow rate and elevation are not set to gpm and ft.

Set the document units for flow rate and elevation to gpm and ft. This will allow you to correctly see how the system resistance curve interacts with the pump curve. The document units can be changed at any time.
