The data table format was completely revised for version 7 of PIPE-FLO. If you created version 6 pipe, valve, and fluid data tables for use with PIPE-FLO, you will need to update them to the new format prior to using them in version 7.

To update a version 6 table to version 7:

1. Open the old table in the version 6 Table Manager.

NOTE: If you do not have a version 6 key, you can still run version 6 of Table Manager. To start the program, go to the directory where version 6 of PIPE-FLO is installed, then double-click on file TABLEMAN.EXE.

2. Print a copy of the version 6 table. (For your convenience, a copy of the version 6 Table Manager manual is available for download at the end of this article.)

3. Start version 7 of PIPE-FLO.

4. Choose the Tools/Data Tables menu item.

5. Create the new table from the data you printed in step 2. (Table Manager has an online Help file to assist you with the table creation.)

NOTE: If you are creating a fluid table, you will first need to determine the property equation coefficients. Please see the related article below.
