Some customers have requested the ability to use previous versions of PIPE-FLO after updating their license to a newer version in order to use system models in a previous version of the software. This article describes a procedure that enables users to run PIPE-FLO version 7.0 (stand-alone and network) and version 7.1 (network) using newer (stand-alone or network) licenses.

Note: PIPE-FLO version 7.1 and above (stand-alone) and PIPE-FLO version 8.0 and above (network) will automatically use all upgraded licenses without any modification.

PIPE-FLO version 7.0 software (both stand-alone and network) and PIPE-FLO version 7.1 software (network only) will not run after upgrades to the license have been installed. Users who have upgraded to stand-alone or network licenses of PIPE-FLO version 7.1 and above can use this procedure to enable version 7.0 and 7.1 software to run.

To enable PIPE-FLO version 7.0 or version 7.1 to run using the newer licenses:

  1. Download and unzip the file attached to this article
  2. Close the PIPE-FLO program
  3. Locate the installation folder of PIPE-FLO version 7.0 or PIPE-FLO version 7.1
  4. Copy the file "FLMGR32.DLL" to that path, replacing the existing file
