Software install generates a message: "Install error 001, contact the supplier of this software."

This message may occur when the software is being installed from a network drive. This is normally setup by a network administrator, in order to expedite the setup process.

There is a limit to the length of the path name that can be used, path names longer than 118 characters may cause the install to fail with this error message.

You can copy the install directory to your local machine and run the setup.exe from this location.

Contact your network administrator to have the install moved to a shorter path.
