Problem: Code 18, No such feature recognized by server.
Cause: When the server was originally set up, the license file was saved to "memory only" instead of to "memory and file." As a result, the license associated with the server in memory is no longer in memory when the server resets. This is common when service updates are applied and the server resets automatically.
Solution: Re-add the license file to the server.
Step-by-step:
1) Make sure your Hardware Key is plugged into the computer, and your server is turned on.
2) Run WLAdmin.exe in your Server folder on your PIPE-FLO media files.
3) Locate the license server and right click it.
4) Browse to: Add Feature > From a File > To Server and its File
5) Locate your latest license file and select it. It is called: LICENSE.TXT or LICENSE.LIC.
You license should now be re-associated with the server.
If you are still having trouble, make sure that:
- You are using the latest license file and not using an outdated file.
- You are using the correct version of Sentinel, see article "Sentinel License Server Information" to see if you are using the correct version.
- Ensure your hardware key is working correctly, follow the steps in Knowledge Base Article 296, "Hardware Key Not Reading Correctly (Error)."
- If you are using both PIPE-FLO Professional and Overtime, you will need to have a license file that accommodates both products. Contact ESI Support representitive to see if your license file works for both Professional and Overtime.
