Engineered Software, in conjunction with fluid manufacturers and users, has created a number of Fluid Tables. The default fluids install with engineered software products (PIPE-FLO, PUMP-FLO and Flow of Fluids,) including Air, Steam, Water and the hydrocarbon fluids referenced in Crane's Technical Paper #410, Flow of Fluids through Valves, Fittings, and Pipe. The heat transfer fluids available from the DOW Chemical Company and the table for 3.5% Seawater can be downloaded below by clicking the links under the Attachments section. The Molecular Knowledge Systems Compilations are included on a disc with the purchase PIPE-FLO and Flow of Fluids software. The Standard Compilation for Flow of Fluids and the Complete Compilation for PIPE-FLO Professional and Compressible.

The default fluid tables include:

Air – A Molecular Knowledge Systems fluid data table
Steam – U of Idaho ALLPROPS, DIPPR and Yaws
Steam (Ideal Gas Law) – U of Idaho ALLPROPS, DIPPR and Yaws
Water – Data based on International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam, DIPPR, and Yaws

and the Crane hydrocarbon fluids (included with the program installations beginning with version 2007a)

32_6 deg API Crude – 32.6ºF API Crude, American Petroleum Institute
35_6 deg API Crude – 35.6ºF API Crude, American Petroleum Institute
40 deg API Crude – 40ºF API Crude, American Petroleum Institute
48 deg API Crude – 48ºF API Crude, American Petroleum Institute
Bunker C Fuel – dense viscous blend of heavy No.6 residual oils and lighter fuel oil
Fuel 3 Max – No. 3 fuel oil, light distillate fuel oil, type of diesel
Fuel 5 Min – No. 5 fuel oil, heavy residual fuel oil
Fuel 6 Min – No. 6 fuel oil, heavy residual fuel oil
Gasoline – fractional distillate of petroleum, commonly used as automobile fuel
Kerosene – fractional distillate of petroleum, commonly used as a heating oil or jet propulsion
MC Residuum
Natural Gasoline – liquid extractive of natural gas
SAE 10 Lube – viscosity grade 10 lubrication oil, Society of Automotive Engineers
SAE 30 Lube – viscosity grade 30 lubrication oil, Society of Automotive Engineers
SAE 70 Lube – viscosity grade 70 lubrication oil, Society of Automotive Engineers
Salt Creek Crude – light crude oil

If needed, these default tables can be reset by holding CTRL+SHIFT and starting the program. Choose the Reset Pakages option and follow the prompts.
