X-Links That Cannot Be Updated in Excel
If you receive this dialog, your excel sheet workbook page may contain broken links when trying to read data from PIPE-FLO. By pushing the Update button, it should update your links automatically.

If your links do not get updated automatically, you will receive the following dialog. You may choose to view your excel worksheet with broken links by clicking Continue, otherwise you will need to update the location of your source file by clicking Edit Links...

How to Update the Location of Your Source File:
1. If you have received the dialog indicating, "This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be updated," click Edit Links...
2. Click Change Source...

3. In your file browser, find your PIPE-FLO Professional install folder. (The default location is C:\Program Files\Engineered Software\PIPE-FLO Professional) If you are unsure where your PIPE-FLO Professional folder is installed or if you cannot access it, please contact your network administrator to help you locate or access your PIPE-FLO Professional folder.

4. After you have found PIPE-FLO Professional install folder, select the file Query_addin.xla. Click OK.

5. Close Edit Links dialog.
Your links should now be updated.
If your X-Links are still not working correctly, you will need to re-install X-Link. Close Excel and PIPE-FLO. Download the file attached to this article called XLINK.EXE and double click it to run the X-Link installer. You may need to repeat the "How to Update the Location of Your Source File" steps if your links are still broken.
