If you’d like to add additional pumps that weren’t returned by a search, or add additional pumps to a previously saved list, you can accomplish it easily using the new Manual Selection tool in PUMP-FLO Premium.

While viewing a list, click the Manual Selection link in the blue bar at the top of the page (under the Catalogs tab). See image right.

In the dialogue that opens, choose a manufacturer from the drop-down list to the right of ‘Select Manufacturer’. All pumps from all catalogs for that manufacturer will be added to a list; it might take a minute for the complete list to load. You can click column headers to sort the list, or type a value in the text box to filter the list to narrow it down to the pump you’re looking for.

For example, if you're looking for an 1800 rpm pump, typing 1800 into the Speed text box will filter the list so that only 1800 rpm pumps show.

When you find the pump you want, click the row and it will be added to your selection list. A yellow ‘Pump Added’ message will appear briefly at the top of the dialogue box to let you know the pump was added successfully.

For multistage pumps, you will be prompted to choose the number of stages at which to add the pump to the list. The search criteria you’ve used to create that selection list will be applied to any pumps you add to it automatically, so for example your design point will be plotted on the curve.

Close the Manual Selection dialogue when you’re done. The pump's default location in the selection list will be determined by whatever sort criteria you have chosen. You can re-sort the list by different criteria to more easily find the new pump you’ve just added. If you add a pump by accident, you can easily remove it from the list by clicking the trash can icon on the far left hand column of the pump’s row in the list.
